Stonehill’s Martin Institute to Host Democratic Candidates for Governor on August 19th

The Joseph Martin Institute for Law & Society at Stonehill College will host a forum with the candidates for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Massachusetts on Tuesday, August 19th from 7pm - 8pm in the College’s Shields Science Center. The event is being co-sponsored by Gatehouse Media and WCVB Boston.

The forum will be moderated by Steve Kornacki, host of MSNBC's Up with Steve Kornacki.  He also contributes occasionally to Capital New York and Salon, where he served as a senior political writer and politics editor from 2010 to 2013.  His work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, New York Daily News, New York Post, Boston Globe and Daily Beast. He is a native of Groton, Massachusetts. 

The panelists for the forum will be Rick Holmes of the MetroWest Daily News and MassPoliticalNews.com, Christopher Burrell of The Patriot Ledger, and Janet Wu of WCVB.

The Martin Institute will also host  a forum with the Commonwealth's candidates for Attorney General and Treasurer on Thursday, Aug. 28th as well as a forum with candidates for Lieutenant Governor on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd.
