A total of five Stonehill student-athletes were named All-Americans for their performances on the field this fall. Junior Stephan Neville is the first All-American in Stonehill football program history and the field hockey team placed a program record of four on All-America teams.
Neville, an All-New England and All-Northeast-10 Conference first team selection this fall, is the lone Northeast-10 Conference football player named to the AFCA Division II Coaches' All-America Team. In fact, he is the first NE-10 football player to earn AFCA All-America honors since Merrimack College defensive back Andrew Jackson was the lone NE-10 representative in 2008. All four field hockey selections are first time All-Americans, led by Foley, who is a consensus first team selection on the Longstreth/NFHCA and womensfieldhockey.com squads. Pinkham and Nelson are also consensus All-America picks with Pinkham named to the womensfieldhockey.com first team and Longstreth/NFHCA second team and Nelson earning second team honors by both. Noce collected Longstreth/NFHCA second team honors to round out the four honorees. For more on Stonehill field hockey All-Americans, visit here.
