On Saturday the basketball court in Merkert Gymnasium will be officially dedicated as the Paula Sullivan Court during a ceremony prior to the women’s basketball game. With over four decades of outstanding service to Stonehill, Paula brought excellence to everything she handled. She turned a fledgling program into a national powerhouse and retired as one of the winningest basketball coaches of all-time. During the 1993-94 season, she led her team to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight for the first time in school history.
