Go Global: Perspectives for International Careers

November 10, 2015

Vital Voices

What to do with a major in political science? To answer this question, each semester, Department of Political Science and International Studies invites recent graduates to share their perspective with current students looking to create international careers.

The Department encourages students of all majors to partake in this conversation on how to position yourself for working abroad or for working domestically on international issues.

Please join Ben Albert ’10 of Vital Voice Global Partnership who will speak about the current job market, in the US and abroad, in pursuing global careers. Ben will also reflect on his experiences as a student, with an emphasis on the types of assignments, curricular and extra-curricular engagements that have proven most helpful to him post-Stonehill. His talk and subsequent discussion will also address post-graduate service and crafting a successful graduate school pathway. Importantly, Ben will argue for the importance of having a global perspective in  professional development, regardless of one’s intended career.

The event will be moderated by Prof. Anna Ohanyan,

the Chair of the Political Science and International Studies Department.
