TAKE BACK THE NIGHT MARCH ON APRIL 22

Stonehill's 12th annual Take Back The Night March will take place on Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Take Back The Night (TBTN) is an international rally and march, organized to unite communities to take a stand against violence towards women, children, and families and to make the night safe for everyone.

Make Some Noise
The event this year focuses on the theme, "Ten People Who Speak Make More Noise Than Ten Thousand Who Are Silent."

The March Route
The march will begin with an opening ceremony at Boland Hall at 6:30 p.m., and free tee-shirts will be given out to first arrivals.

The marchers will then proceed to the Heights, Corr, Villa Theresa, Notre Dame du lac, Commonwealth Courts, O'Hara Hall, the Seminary, the Grotto, and Colonial Courts, where there will be a "speak out" in Hawthorne House. Refreshments will be served.

At each stop along the march route, there will be presentations, including a performance by the Chapel Choir and the reading of poems and stories by Diversity on Campus.

Public Is Welcome
The Stonehill community and the TBTN committee invite members of the local community to participate in the march.  All are welcome.
