W.B. Mason Gives Stonehill Students Sneak Peek at Red Sox Business Model
Thanks to the W.B. Mason Company, which is a major advertiser with the World Series Champions, the students visited Fenway Park on Wednesday, April 9 for an afternoon of discussions with executives not just from the Red Sox but also from NESN. After a couple of hours of professional dialogue, the students, all members of the Business to Business marketing class with Professor Timothy Cavicchi, received a game day tour of Fenway Park. To cap off the whole experience, W.B. Mason hosted the students in its corporate box for the second home game of the season, which was against the Detroit Tigers. To see photo highlights of our students at Fenway, visit here. In their class, the students are working on marketing projects for the W. B. Mason Company, which has more than 80 Stonehill alumni employees. The president and chief executive officer of W.B. Mason Leo J. Meehan III graduated from Stonehill in 1975 and is currently a trustee of the College. The College's multi-purpose athletic facility W. B. Mason Stadium was formally dedicated on September 10, 2005. 04/14/08 |
