Help Using ERes (Electronic Reserves)

ERes is the electronic reserve module maintained by the circulation staff at the MacPháidín Library. This system allows students and faculty to access course reserve material via the web without having to come into the library.

Accessing ERes Lists

  • Go to Access Eres

  • Click on Electronic Course Reserves and Reserve Pages

  • Click on Course Reserves Pages by Instructor

  • Select an Instructor and click “View”

  • Click on Course Number

  • Enter Course Password and click “Accept”

  • If you have forgotten your course page password (given out by your Instructor), please call the Circulation Desk (508-565-1313). We can provide the appropriate password.

ERes Course Lists

  • Once in the Course Reserve List, click on the icon or title of the document you wish to view.

  • You will see the bibliographic information for this document. At the bottom of the screen, click on the icon again to view the document.

  • At this point, you can read or print the document.

Problems with ERes?

  • If you encounter a problem opening a document, click on the link at the top of the page marked, "Help Opening Documents." You may need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

  • If you have forgotten your course page password, please notify the Circulation Department (508-565-1313). We can provide the appropriate password.

  • Some documents may take a while to load due to their size and the number of graphic images. Please be patient.
