Problems viewing this site?

The Stonehill College Web site is designed and tested for compatibility with the following browsers:

For PC Users:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 SP1(preferred browser)
  • Netscape Navigator versions 6.0 - 7.0 (mostly compatible)
  • AOL 8.0 (mostly compatible)

Note to on-campus users:  Netscape Communicator 4.X is no longer supported for Web Browsing purposes by the Office of Communications and Media Relations.  This does not impact email support which is maintained by Information Technology.

The site should view properly on Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME, and XP

  •  The site is best viewed in a browser resolution of 800 x 600
  •  The site can also be viewed appropriately at 1024 x768

For Mac Users:

  •  Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.1.5 (mostly compatible)

The site should view properly on Mac OS 8.1, 9.x, and X

AOL Users:

If you are an AOL user and cannot view portions of the Stonehill site, please check to make sure that your browser is a 32-bit version of the AOL browser. Generally, anyone running Windows 95 or higher would have the 32-bit version of AOL's software. However, for reasons unknown to us, many users seem to be using 16-bit versions of AOL. The 16-bit version of AOL does not support java, which makes it impossible to view many of the navigation menus or any of the other java applets on the Stonehill Web site. If you are currently using a 16-bit version of AOL, our best advice is to upgrade to the 32-bit version of AOL..  Our site is tested to work properly with AOL 8.0.

To report a problem with the site contact the Web Office.
