Financial Assistance for International Students

Merit-based Scholarships

All applicants (domestic and international) are automatically considered for Stonehill College's academic scholarships. Merit scholarship award decisions are made during the admission review process and are based on outstanding academic credentials.  Please note that no merit scholarship covers the full cost of attendance.

Need-based Financial Assistance

Stonehill College provides a limited amount of need-based aid to international students (non-US citizens). Need-based awards are intended to supplement the amount a student is able to pay in order to reach the full cost of attendance. Our need-based awards may cover up to the cost of full tuition, though these cases are rare. Other expenses, including room, board, travel, books, and other costs and fees are always the responsibility of the student.

International students will be considered for admission and institutional need-based financial assistance based upon a review of their academic qualifications, financial need, and availability of student aid resources. In some cases, especially for students with high financial need, we are unable to make an offer of admission if our funding will be insufficient.

International students who do not require financial assistance and who meet our admission requirements may be at an advantage in our admission process. For this reason, it is important to be candid when reporting the amount of money you and your family can contribute to your education. Stonehill College is unable to increase scholarship awards once they are allocated, and we are also unable to guarantee that we will meet 100% of every student's financial need.
