Devon D. Sprague

Biography

Devon Sprague earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Southern Maine and her B.F.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Maine. She has published short fiction, poetry, and an illustrated children’s book titled Chase’s Tale. Her teaching experience includes composition and creative writing courses at a number of Boston colleges. In addition to Sports Rivalries, she has taught Writing Tutoring: Theory and Practice, The Art of the Essay, and Reading and Writing Poetry.  Devon currently directs the Center for Writing and Academic Achievement. She is co-director of the Boston Area Writing Center Director’s group and regularly presents at local and national conferences, including the Boston Rhetoric and Writing Network Summer Institute and the annual conference for the International Writing Centers Association.
