Campus Service Organizations

  • A.C.E.S. ~ Active Concerned Educated Students. ACES is dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable environment with healthy attitudes and behaviors. This goal is executed through
    peer listening and educational programs.
  • Ames Society ~ Fosters spirit and unity through service, within and around the Stonehill community.
  • Amnesty International ~ Working for human rights.
  • Bacchus ~ Boosting Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students. BACCHUS provides primary prevention efforts to help alleviate the problem of alcohol misuse and abuse on campus by educating the college community and increasing the awareness concerning healthy alternatives to alcohol misuse and abuse. 
  • Circle K ~ Circle K involves students in campus and community service while developing quality leaders and citizens. Circle K inspires people to better our world. 
  • D.O.C. ~ Diversity On Campus.  DOC is interested in educating the college community on issues of diversity.  They serve as a support for Stonehill students who experience racial, ethnic, or cultural tension.  DOC facilitates discussions and programs that raise cultural awareness on campus.
  • Fear No People ~ A coalition of students, faculty and staff committed to heightening the awareness of the college community regarding the differences we exhibit as members of the human race.  Fear No People is interested in creating an open minded environment in which the differences between people can be appreciated.  
  • Habitat for Humanity ~ Building low cost housing.
  • Into the Streets ~ Community service organizations.
  • Knights of Columbus ~ The Stonehill Knights gather in prayer and in service to the Church, Stonehill College community, and humanity as a whole.  Using four ideals: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, the Stonehill Knights hope to foster communal justice, compassion, and responsibility for all members of our community.  The Stonehill Knights seek to cultivate and enhance the student culture at Stonehill College by offering brotherhood, authentic college experiences, and an enriched academic life.
  • Pax Christi ~ Connected to the Catholic peace movement, Pax Christi focuses on living Christian lives of nonviolence and social justice.
  • PRIDE ~ Providing a Responsible, Inclusive, Diverse Environment.  PRIDE is dedicated to creating a humane campus environment for all persons regardless of sexual orientation.  Committed to educating themselves and the campus community regarding issues related to homosexuality and bisexuality.  
  • S.E.A. ~ Students for Environmental Awareness.  Promotes education and awareness of
    environmental issues that affect Stonehill and the rest of the world.
  • Student Alumni Association ~ Establishing relationships between Stonehill students & alumni.
  • Student Ministry Council ~ Helping plan special liturgies held at the Chapel of Mary.
  • WACK ~ Wednesday Academic Club for Kids.  Provides educational tutoring for inner-city students in the Brockton area.
