Stonehill has once again been named one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education by The Princeton Review. The education services company features the College in the new 2016 edition of its annual college guide, The Best 380 Colleges.

In its profile on Stonehill, The Princeton Review quoted extensively from students the company surveyed for the book. Below are excerpts from the profile:

  • This small liberal arts college located between Boston and Providence “creates an inclusive environment and presents its students with countless opportunities for internships and other pre-grad networking opportunities,” opportunities pushed by educators who are “very engaging and passionate about their material.”

  • The professors here “have all worked in the field they teach,” meaning “the academics are incredibly relevant to the real world.”

  • The school’s modest size carries over to the classroom, where “class sizes are small enough to engage in meaningful discussions” with professors who “provide plenty of opportunities to meet with them outside of class and form lasting relationships with students.” These discussion-based classes “involve the students and engage them in the learning process,” while the “extremely helpful” educators “make students aware that they consider students real people and are always available both to discuss class material or personal matters if they can help.” The idea is to help students “work toward nurturing the whole person through a comprehensive education.”
