Community College Science Transfer Initiative

Science. Math. And a path to a bright future.

With Stonehill’s Science Transfer Initiative, you can apply community college credits to a four-year degree here, thereby enjoying the unique benefits of a Stonehill education.

Take on a real-life research project. Meet one-on-one with professors who know you by name. Find an exciting internship. Whether you’re interested in science, technology, engineering or math, all of these opportunities await you at Stonehill.

As a science transfer student, you can:

Apply for Special Financial Aid

You may be surprised by how affordable Stonehill is – even compared to community college tuition. Many financial aid options are available for science transfer students, including a $10,000 merit scholarship for students with a 3.5 GPA.

Learn in the Lab

Through our summer research opportunity, you can gain real-world experience by working side-by-side with faculty on a meaningful research project – and even earn a $3,500 stipend – the summer before you transfer.

Get a Career Head Start

Whatever career you imagine, Stonehill’s Career Services team will provide the connections and tools – from resume building to mock interviews – to get you there.

Find a Community of Support

As you transfer, you’ll find a network of faculty and students ready to help you navigate your new academic and campus life at Stonehill.

Our partnerships with Massasoit and other area community colleges will help you easily identify the community college courses you need to transfer seamlessly to Stonehill.
