International Applicants are students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. who would need an F-1 student visa to attend Stonehill.

Application Instructions

If you’re an International Applicant, you must complete the following 2 steps in addition to the application process outlined for First Year-Applicants and Transfer Applicants.

1. Proof of English Proficiency

Applicants whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). 
Stonehill requires a TOEFL score with a minimum of:

  • 550 on written exam
  • 213 on the computer-based exam OR
  • 78 on the internet- based exam for admission

2. International Student Certification of Finances

The International Student Certification of Finances must be filled out and returned with supporting documentation (Bank Statements, Affidavits of Support, etc.) before a decision can be made on your application and eligibility for a student visa.
