“During my four years at Stonehill I was fortunate to have some of the best experiences a student could ask for.

From being a teaching assistant to working with many fantastic faculty, these experiences encouraged me to continue my study of mathematics and I recently started a doctoral program at the University of Virginia.

One of the incredible things about Stonehill is the interaction of students, faculty and staff across disciplines and departments on and off campus.

While I majored in math, I found myself on a trip for a series of Business classes (a Learning Community) to the Mediterranean for spring break one year, and driving a caravan of buses to Tennessee with Campus Ministry to serve the community for the next.

I was able to pour myself into the Math department while still participating in music and working closely with the Office of Admission. Through the breadth and variety of experiences I was fortunate to have as a Stonehill student, I learned just as much outside of the classroom as I did in it.

I still keep in touch with many professors I had during my time at Stonehill and they are always eager and excited to hear what I am planning to do next.

I am so fortunate to have had the opportunities and to have connected with the people I did at Stonehill. Every day I push myself and take on new goals that I know I can accomplish with the skills and knowledge I developed and the support of faculty who really care. Even though I am no longer a Stonehill student, I am still connected to the Stonehill community and family that I was so blessed to be a part of for four incredible years.”
