Beta Alpha Psi

National Accounting Honor Society

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is a nonprofit international honorary and service organization for Accounting students at AACSB universities.

Its primary objective is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting; providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals as well as encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

Membership in Beta Alpha Psi is granted to students in good standing who have:

  • An accounting GPA of 3.50 in a minimum of 12 hours of accounting coursework
  • An overall GPA of 3.25
  • Have completed 40 hours of professional development and community service over two semesters prior to admission.

Accounting Association

Stonehill Student-led Organization

The Accounting Association is a student-led organization open to all Stonehill students who are interested in careers in accounting.

Guest speakers include representatives from graduate schools, organizations that provide internships, and prospective employers. The focus of meetings is on current events, CPA-related issues, and associated accounting topics.
