Chief Financial Officer of Asset Management
Jean Raymond is chief financial officer of asset management for Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.
Prior to assuming her current position in May 2014, Jean served as executive vice president of Managerial Finance within Fidelity Financial Services. In this role, Jean was instrumental in operationalizing the Fidelity Cost and Profitability Program enterprise-wide in order to drive increased use of profitability analytics for improved business results, as well as providing steady leadership across the finance organization. Prior to that, she was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Personal and Workplace Investing (PWI), after serving as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Fidelity Personal Investments (FPI). Previously, Jean was vice president of finance at FPI starting in 2001. From 1989 through 1999, she served in various finance roles of increasing responsibility, including that of finance manager of Fidelity’s Accounting and Custody Services (FACS), director of Finance for Fidelity’s Institutional Retirement Services Company (FIRSCO), vice president of Finance for Fidelity’s Institutional Retirement Group (FIIRG), as well as chief financial officer and vice president of Finance and Risk Operations for Fidelity Service Company (FSC). She has been in the investments industry since joining Fidelity in 1986 as a senior financial analyst for FSC.
Jean earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics from Stonehill College and her master of science degree in finance from Boston College. She is actively involved with Learning Prep School in Newton, MA as Board Chair. Jean is also a member of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Executive Council Steering Committee, Children’s Hospital Boston’s Board of Overseers, and a member of Mass General Hospital’s the one hundred Committee.
