Course Description

Economic analysis of product and resource markets. The consumption behavior of households, the price and output decisions of firms under various forms of market structure, the distribution of income.

  • This course fulfills the Social Scientific Inquiry General Education requirement.
  • Faculty will contact all students after the May 22 registration deadline with course instructions. Students should expect to dedicate approximately 17 hours of course related work per week.

Course Instructor

Robert Pritchard

Teaching Fellow of Economics

Professor Robert D.  Pritchard has 30 years of experience in public policy analysis and presenting research results and developed courses of study in economics.  His research interests include transportation, law and economics, and economic development.  A Stonehill College Teaching Fellow (2009-2014 and 2016-2017), Professor Pritchard has been a member of the Stonehill Community since 2002, he is also an Associate Teaching Professor for Northeastern University’s Economics Department.  While earning his Ph.D. in Law, Policy and Society from Northeastern University, he was an experiential learner in the United States Department of Transportation Student Trainee Experience Program.  He was awarded his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English and Master of Arts in Economics from Boston College.
